19/10/2009 - 08:30 - 18:00

On Monday 19 October 2009, SIGCHI.be, the Belgian professional association for Human-Computer Interaction (www.sigchi.be), organises its first full-day conference on New Communities.

SIGCHI Fall conference logo

This year's theme addresses the heightened interest in building and supporting communities in all its shades: groupware, work communities, social networks, community software & tools. It also refers to the new community of Belgian HCI professionals that this conference wants to bring together, enabling people to step forward and present their work to their peers and to the broader ICT community.

At the conference, Namahn's Kristel Van Ael and Joannes Vandermeulen will present a case study on The animated GUI: lessons from Disney.

You can find more info on the conference page or register on the signup page of the SIGCHI.be website.
