How we work with our clients

Clients come to Namahn with a wide range of questions, expectations, knowledge, schedules and, of course, resources. We respect this diversity and cater to it by offering our services in the form of projects, packages and training. It's all about delivering value, regardless of the size of the assignment.

Projects

Clients often work with Namahn by contracting part of their project to us. This is mostly done on a fixed-price basis, although some projects call for work on a time-and-materials basis.

Prior to starting a project, we engage the client in a thorough briefing and proposal process. This is how we ensure that mutual expectations are as clear as possible, bearing in mind that ‘design is discovery.’

As the overall project evolves and change occurs, we provide an agile response, adapting and scaling our contribution.

Most of the work we do is performed in the form of projects. Projects usually range over a few months; some last for years.

Packages

Some clients want an easy buy with limited commitment. They want snappy results, compact delivery and most of all, inspiration. They buy a package.

We offer a few packages, often involving our Design Studio. The format is more or less fixed. The client has to do quite a lot work himself. It’s not subcontracting; it’s co-creation.

Packages usually run over a few weeks but could be crammed into one week of elapsed time.

Some clients buy a package in order to get to know Namahn before committing to a larger project.

Training

Clients follow training at Namahn to acquire knowledge and skills. They also have a great time exchanging ideas with their peers from other organisations.

Training participants often come from the ranks of organisations that are either considering working with Namahn or who have worked with us and felt inspired or challenged.

Participants prefer hands-on training, with practical exercises and few participants. That’s what we deliver, using our Library and our Design Studio.

Clients often ask us to adopt our ‘open’ content to in-house training delivery.

We are continuously expanding our training offering. We scored very high in a quality survey, so you are certain to get value for money.
