two dancing peopleThe 21st of November, dance workspace DCJ opens her doors for the biennial Jetherfst festival. The dance center, which was founded in 1996 by dancer/choreographer Roxane Huilmand, stimulates the development and diffusion of contemporary dance by offering residencies and trainings for professionals and classes for amateurs. Over the years DCJ gathered many artists from different horizons and generations who’ve become enthusiastic participants in the activities of the center.

During the second edition of the Jetherfst festival, the workspace opens its doors for everyone to be part of the performances of the residents who worked in DCJ during the last 18 months. The festival consists of 6 well-filled evenings during which you can see the work of Belgian and international artists. As a true contemporary dance festival, several hybrid creations are shown, and the festival welcomes other disciplines as video, music, circus and plastic arts.

Namahn proudly sponsors the festival - more info can be found on the festival website.
