Amber De Decker

Designer

Specialises in: service design, user-centred design

Amber has a background in Product Development from the University of Antwerp. During her final year, Amber applied a user-centred and co-creative design approach to create a better experience for families with premature babies in the hospital. She won the Belgian James Dyson award, one that is granted to solutions that have the potential to change people’s lives. During this project, she discovered her passion for both user-centred and service design. Amber began working at Namahn in 2020 to further develop her skills and knowledge in different design fields.

As a true foodie, Amber likes to discover new places to eat in her free time and try out recipes on family and friends. She also enjoys treasure hunting in second-hand shops, especially for home décor pieces.
