Lourdes Machado

Product and Service Designer

Specialises in: product design, research, service design, user experience, and storytelling

Lourdes is a product and service designer who joined the Namahn team in 2025. With a background in industrial design, she brings her interest in creating experiences that are intuitive, user-centered, and grounded in real-world needs.

She brings international experience from working in design studios across Europe and South America, designing for U.S., European, and Latin American markets. These roles shaped her understanding of how cultural context influences user expectations, needs, and behaviours.

Lately, she has been exploring how storytelling can enhance the user experience, using narrative to shape product direction and design into more relatable and purpose-driven solutions. Additionally, she’s always looking to expand her design practice, and often spends her free time attending talks, sketching ideas, or diving into new areas of design.

Lourdes describes herself as a versatile designer who enjoys being involved across the full design process, from early research to prototyping. She thrives on variety and new challenges, whether it’s adapting to a different industry, learning new research methods, or collaborating across cultures and disciplines.

When not designing, Lourdes finds balance in movement, travel, and creativity. She practices ballet weekly and enjoys spending her weekends on 24-to-48-hour trips to new cities, where she captures the atmosphere and character of each place through photography.
